USS Alabama

The USS Alabama is a South Dakota class World War II Era battleship currently at a memorial park in Mobile, Alabama.  You can tour the battleship as well as a submarine and see many aircraft on the grounds.  The battleship has a self guided tour which is quite extensive.  We toured the Missouri in Hawaii and I think that the Alabama has more areas open for people to tour which made it a cool experience.  Since we had an eight hour drive ahead of us and spent more time than anticipated on the Alabama we did not have time to tour the submarine.
